About Me

Hi, my name is Amanda. I am a masters student from California who is currently living in Dublin, Ireland with my dog Indie. If you’re reading this, chances are that you love dogs too. In 2023, I got my first dog ever (a Dalmatian!) and ever since, I have noticed a lot of gaps in knowledge about the breed/dog stuff in general that I would LOVE to talk about.

Why am I doing this blog?

I was given an assignment for one of my classes in which I need to make content on various platforms and I have always said that if I ever post about anything on social media, it will be dogs, so I created this blog. I also have a TikTok account in which I discuss the topics I write about here, but in a simpler, shorter video format—though I am definitely more comfortable behind a keyboard than in front of a camera.

Factual accuracy is incredibly important to me, so I will be providing sources and notes whenever necessary.
